Each recipient of the Betty Ruth Family Gift will receive gifts based on their unique need. We hope to provide for as many families as possible, however, our ability to do so is dependent on donor support.

Continuing the legacy of service.
In 2016, we began the Betty Ruth Family Gift as way to go beyond East Cleveland and serve a small number of families within Cuyahoga county. This gift, named in honor of Donté’s late grandmother Betty Ruth Fellows, is awarded to families who have faced a hardship during the year, and could use extra support during the holiday season.
Since the inception of Donté’s Gift Express, Mrs. Fellows was a faithful volunteer who insisted that we include handwritten Christmas cards to accompany each gift.
The Betty Ruth Family Gift allows us to continue her legacy of service to others. To date, we have adopted 26 families. Families are adopted via nominations.
